Spectra Global School was visited by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education
His Excellency, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi – Undersecretary of the Minister of Education and Higher Education Qatar, Mr. Omar Al Naama – Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, with other officials made a visit to inspect Spectra Global School, on Sunday 3rd Oct 2021.
The purpose of the visit was to check the implementation of procedures, preventive and precautionary measures taken by Spectra Global School for 100% student attendance.
The Principal, Mr. Aziz, along with his Team, guided the guests around the state of the art facility, showcasing Foundation stage, Primary section and our sports facilities. During the visit, the team was briefed on the various educational arrangements and health preparations made for the new academic year (2021/2022) in light of the COVID pandemic.
Dr. Al Nuaimi, had several conversations with the students and listened to their views on the 100% attendance, their aspirations and concerns. His Excellency also urged the students to make the best use of their time and to benefit from the opportunities provided to them. The students were very keen to share their views.
His Excellency praised the school for the procedures, supervision, follow-up and keenness to apply all the directives of MoEHE and MoPH. They were very impressed with the vibrant school environment, room displays and the seating arrangements and protocols the school had in place. “You have a very nice school” they concluded.

Spectra Global School lauded for high score in International exam by Ministry of Education & Higher Education
Our school received special appreciations from the Private Education Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for achieving an outstanding score above the global average (500 points) in Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2019).The school procured this outstanding score for adopting the effective teaching and learning methods in science and mathematics domains.TIMSS, held every four years, shows how well students perform in grades four and eight in Maths and Science, with 500 points as the centre-point of that scale on which countries can compare their performance. Results from the latest TIMSS, taken in 2019, were announced recently.The achievement added yet another laurel to the school.The Ministry conveyed its deepest greetings to the big efforts taken by the teachers and staff for encouraging students to achieve this prestigious acclaim.The management of Spectra Global School, shared their delight and gratitude with the whole staff, students and parents.
Today we had the privilege of hosting a training workshop for 21 Private Schools with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar, to introduce the concept of Teaching Strategies for the 3 compulsory subjects (Arabic, Islamic and Qatar History). Private Schools Officer Entesar Al Mohanadi began the workshop highlighting the importance of the implementation and usage of different teaching strategies in all schools.Mr Adnan Abuhlayel followed on with the workshop going through the expectations that Private schools in Qatar should follow in relation to how to be a good teacher, planning lessons and usage of different teaching strategies. The workshop was received in a very positive way, with all school’s present engaged and providing positive feedback. Spectra Global School was honored to host the workshop and thanked the MoEHE and the other schools for their attendance.
